In Room 12 we like to start the day off with a smile. One way we do this is by passing a smile around a circle. Smiling is contagious, so if you watch the video and aren't smiling by the end we'd be surprised!
Kia Ora, We are a bunch of year 1-2 students from Nga Iwi Primary School. We are super excited to share our learning with you. Please leave us comments as we love feedback!

Ant on My Shoulder - By Sione
Sione has been working really hard on his writing this week. He drew a picture to plan his story and then used the alphabet card to help him find the words he needed. He needed the word ant but it wasn't on the card so he went to our inquiry wall and found it there. When he had finished his story he carefully read it to himself while pointing at the words to check it made sense. Well done Sione!
Slater Learning
We loved doing our slater investigation on Tuesday and we learnt alot about slaters just by observing them. La'talia and Beth-lyn have written about the experiment and what they found out.
