Ant on My Shoulder - By Sione

Sione has been working really hard on his writing this week.  He drew a picture to plan his story and then used the alphabet card to help him find the words he needed.  He needed the word ant but it wasn't on the card so he went to our inquiry wall and found it there.  When he had finished his story he carefully read it to himself while pointing at the words to check it made sense.  Well done Sione!

Wally has been working hard on spelling some of the high frequency words.  Since he's at home he had to get creative and use knives and forks to spell out words.  Can you tell what word Wally has spelt?  Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

You can find things in your home to help you practice spelling your high frequency words.  You'll find the words glued in the back of your homework book.  If you don't have a homework book you can go here and choose an appropriate list for your child.
